Community Health FUN Fair

(New Smyrna Beach, FL) – You are cordially invited to join us on March 29 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Alonzo “Babe” James Community Center, 201 N. Myrtle Ave., for a dynamic event focused on community engagement and raising public health awareness. We’ll offer FREE healthy snacks to attendees, a light lunch for participating vendors, and entertainment for all ages. Enjoy line dancing with Eddra and creating special pieces of artwork as keepsakes with Gina & Steve from Creations from the Sand, LLC. We’re taking a more holistic view of health & wellness, sharing it with others, and making it fun. 

The event will feature presentations by AdventHeatlh Cardiologist Dr. Surya Rao, Teresa Jones of Owners Choice Benefits, AARP Representative Bill Ternent, Licensed Personal Trainer Clinton Ford, Dr. Timothy Steflik of Coastal Integrative Pain Clinic, and Ryan Foster of Volusia Recovery Alliance. We’ll also feature free health screenings and over 40 onsite vendors. Let’s make health a priority in 2023!

HOPE Across the Globe, Inc. is a local medical 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization providing treatment and patient care, prevention, testing, and education for HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, sexually transmitted infections (STI), and PrEP daily. The group has provided an Awareness Campaign in the local Jacksonville area with free HIV testing, and funding for testing of local high-risk populations as well as provided medications, supplies, and educational materials to a rural hospital and HIV clinics in western Panama and Lima, Peru.
