Spreading the Holiday Spirit
Jacksonville, FL – The holiday season is upon us all. The community is lit up with decorations, people are filling themselves up with every last bite of holiday desserts, and racing around town to find the last copy of Pokémon: Sword and Shield for their children before Christmas day. More importantly, it is the perfect time of year to embrace the holiday spirit, of giving to others.
For HOPE, it is no different, but an even greater opportunity to bring some added joy to many children throughout the city. This year, with the help of the staff of Five Below, HOPE was able to load up and stock up on games, dolls, superheroes, puzzles, and every other toy imaginable to hand out to kids this season.
The next holiday spirit giving event, and FREE testing opportunity, will be held on December 22nd, at the Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church, located at 1319 North Myrtle Ave Jacksonville, FL 32209. Be sure to come by with your kids for some early holiday presents, and get yourself tested, while you are at it. By the time they open up their toy to start playing with them, your test and your results will be done.
During December, HOPE is offering confidential HIV testing Jacksonville to the public—for FREE! We would like to give a special thanks to Theta Phi Chapter and its members, who have hosted these testing events and assisted with handing out and providing these toys to the children in the community. The opportunity to work with this amazing organization, to help bring joy and cheer to kids, is something everyone at HOPE is very excited about.
