Fighting HIV & FOOD INSECURITY in St. Augustine

(Saint Augustine, FL) – Are you doing your part? Join us for an incredible event on March 14 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the New Mt Moriah Christian Ministry, 676 Christopher St., St. Augustine, FL 32084. Epic-Cure will provide attendees with food while HOPE Across the Globe provides free, confidential HIV testing.  

All attendees will receive food provided by Epic-Cure and the opportunity to receive a $10 gift card by getting a FREE HIV test. During the event, talk to the HOPE Staff to learn about all the services available to you, including PrEP.

Epic-Cure’s mission is to eliminate food waste and hunger through food rescue and distribution and leverage senior citizens to teach children to safely prepare meals, providing them with practical life skills and self-confidence from real achievement, while simultaneously connecting generations through a shared purpose. HOPE Across the Globe, Inc. is a local medical 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization providing treatment and patient care, prevention, testing, and education for HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, sexually transmitted infections (STI), and PrEP daily. The group has provided an Awareness Campaign in the local Jacksonville area with free HIV testing, and funding for testing of local high-risk populations, and provided medications, supplies,, and educational materials to a rural hospital and HIV clinics in western Panama and Lima, Peru.
